Like I said in a previous post, I’ve been enjoying eating local nectarines. Last night I made a fun dessert with warm honey nectarines served with vanilla coconut ice cream. It was a perfect combination of warm and cold.
Warm Nectarine Sundae
1 cup sliced nectarines, peel off
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. honey
1 pinch of ground cinnamon
Vanilla ice cream of you choice
Melt butter in a frying pan on medium heat. Saute nectarines for 2 minutes. Add honey, cinnamon and stir. Let it simmer for 1 minute. Serve in a glass or bowl on top of ice cream. A sprinkle of granola on top if you like. Yum!!!!!
