Truffle cake fit for a royal wedding

I saw on CNN that the British royal wedding will feature a groomes cake that is chocolate with tea biscuit inside. It looked and sounded so good so I decided to make my own version of it. Now I don’t know how tea biscuits taste like or where to find some so I simply used graham crackers. I made the cake gluten free by making it a truffles cake so there are no actual baking involved either. My husband fell in love with it and claims it’s the best cake he ever eaten. Now I guess he’s not royalte but he is pretty darn important.

1/2 cup coconut flakes
1/2 cup cream ( I used 1/4 cup mimic and 1/4 coconut)
1 oz margarine
10 oz semi sweet chocolate chips ( 1 bag)
1 1/2 cups graham cookies, broken into small pieces
Sprinkle coconut flakes in the bottom of a pie mold. Heat cream and margarine in a sauce pot until margarine has melted. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Stir until melted and you have a smooth cream. Add cookies and mix quickly. Pour over coconut flakes in an even layer. Place in fridge for at least 2 hours before serving. Enjoy with cream!!!

  3. Hi Heather,Oh about 1 million calories:) Sorry but I honesty don't know the answer to that. It's maybe a cake you don't eat everyday but healthier than a store bought one. Thanks for you question sorry not be able to help you.
