Stainless Steel Cups from BackCountry Boutique: Review & Giveaway

By Fredrica Syren:

Once you try to live a plastic-free life, finding kids’ cups can be a challenge unless you believe in taking a walk on the wild side and let your kids use glass. Now, that is simply not an option for kids with fumble fingers, so I was thrilled to find stainless steel cups from BackCountry Boutique.

First of all, these cups come in a set of four, and are both BPA-free and dishwasher safe. I really like that. Second, the cups come with removable handles that help kids grip them or can be used to clip the cups to a bag or backpack. And these removable handles come in different colors, which is practical for a mom of three to know whose cup is whose. The cups can be used with or without the included handles, which is good since my 10-year-old was not a huge fan of the handles and felt it was hard to drink from the cup with them on. The cups are stackable and pretty much unbreakable. They hold 12 ounces, which is good. Universal silicone sippy or straw lids from brands like Boon also can be used to prevent spills, making the cups more portable.

BackCountry Boutique’s goal is to provide customers with great eco-friendly products that benefit our world. I love how they donate a percentage of their sales to four different charities they support for a total of 10 percent. The four causes they support are Beagle Freedom Project, Lifewater International, The Maxlove Project and Patriot Paws.

I really love these cups: they are perfect for use at home or on the go. I also would like to give them a thumbs up for donating some of their proceeds to charity. These stainless steel cups can be bought here.

These look great! I especially love that they’re durable. That’s one benefit of going plastic free that I just love. I don’t have to go out and re-purchase new stuff for my kids all the time.
