Spring Class Schedule

We have some fun classes coming up this spring you don’t want to miss.






Essential oil make-and-take class for girls

We will be making a perfume roller using see through rollers with crystals inside and a gold lid, a diffuser bracelet using lava beads and an all-natural essential oil based deodorant. While the girls are making these fun gifts in the garden, one of us will host the parents in the house and talk about the products the girls are making and benefits of Essential oils.

Date February 17, 2-4pm

Garden Cleaning class

Guests will be able to make Thieves Cleaners in Beautiful amber spray bottles and toilet bombs and learn all about the starter kit and why cleaning with essential oils are the best choice for your family’s health. Everyone who buys a PSK that day will receive a free bottle of concentrated Thieves Cleaner so they can refill that amber bottle for months and months.

Garden & vitality class

This will be held on our BEAUTIFUL homestead filled with veggies, fruits, herbs and even chickens. I will share my gardening tricks using essential oils AND guests will get to cook in our outdoor kitchen using homegrown ingredients and the purest essential oils.

Zero waste 101

Are you interested in reducing waste at home but don’t know where to begin? This class will provide you with all the knowledge and practical tools needed to start living a zero-waste lifestyle. Feel free to bring to waste bin to learn how you can reduce to waste to almost nothing.

Date April 6th, 2-4pm

Plant-Based Cooking

This class will be in our homestead outdoors classroom and kitchen. In this class, you will learn how exciting plant-based can be and learn how to integrate more plant-based food into your life. We will talk about different protein and iron rich foods, plant-based means and tips on how to get eat more plant-based food. We will make my family’s favorite breakfast, lunch and dinner and bake bread.

About Green Mom

Fredrica Syren, the author and founder of Green-Mom.com, was born in Sweden. Her mother was a classically trained chef who introduced her to many eclectic flavors and skills at a young age. Her mom’s passion for the outdoors and gardening planted the seed for her own love of nature and healthy eating. She received a degree in journalism and has worked as a print, Internet and broadcasting journalist for many years with big businesses within Europe and the United States. After her mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer and she with pre-cancer, Fredrica changed her career to become a full time yoga teacher and activist. A longtime world traveler, foodie and career woman, she was exposed to many facets of life, but nothing inspired her more than becoming a mom. After her first-born, Fredrica began a food blog focusing on local, seasonal, organic & vegetarian dishes. Years of food blogging developed into the cookbook Yummy in My Tummy, Healthy Cooking for the Whole Family. Upon the arrival of her second child, Fredrica founded Green-Mom.com. Her vision was to establish a site providing insight about gardening, home and personal care, baby & child, and of course food & nutrition. Green-Mom.com hosts many talented writers shedding light on ways to incorporate eco-friendly and nutritious practices for busy families. She is an advocate for organic, local and sustainable businesses. Fredrica hopes to inspire social change through her lifestyle, passion and business. Fredrica lives with her husband James Harker-Syren and their three children in San Diego, CA.
