Review: Yummi Pouch–For Healthy Snack On the Go

As a family of five who are always on the go, we have to be really smart and creative when it comes to packing healthy and nutritional snacks for us all. I love making smoothies for snacks, and with Yummi Pouch, it’s easy to bring along smoothies when we’re out and about. All three of our kids love eating snacks from these pouches.yummi pouch

Yummi Pouch works great for kids of all ages. My 7-year-old loves bringing smoothies to school and the pouch fits well in her lunchbox. My 3-year-old is a picky eater, so it’s hard to get him to eat a variety of vegetables. However, he thinks eating any puree in these pouches is a treat, and I love that I can make vegetable-based purees that he will eat. (His favorite is avocado, kale, raspberries and dates.) My 1-year-old is still learning to feed himself and refuses to be spoon-fed. It’s much easier and neater for him to eat a puree from a Yummi Pouch.

I love that there are three different sizes of Yummi Pouches. The sport size is perfect for my husband and me. The pouches are made of safe food-grade polyethylene material, which is BPA and phthalate free, and they are 100% recyclable. I like how easy they are to fill and clean, and that they are reusable. I used to buy disposables but hated that they would end up in a landfill. Of course, these qualities make Yummi Pouch a perfect choice for my green family.
