Review: Dr. Bronner’s Products

By Fredrica Syren

I got an opportunity to try a few products from Dr. Bronner’s company. What I really like about Dr. Bronner’s personal products is that they are certified under the USDA National Organic Program as well as Fair Trade certified! Dr. Bronner’s has a wide range of organic and fair trade personal care products, from lotions to shaving gels – all certified under the same USDA program that certifies organic foods.

Organic Shikakai Baby Hand Soap –– We use a lot of hand soap at home, and I had not found the perfect one until I tried this soap. I love that it’s unscented and super creamy. A little goes a long way to get your hands clean, and it does not dry out my hands as other soaps tend to do.

Fair Trade Organic Virgin Coconut Oil — This is a real treat for anyone who cooks or eats coconut. It’s made from the whole kernel and is cold-pressed. I really love the taste because it really does taste like coconut. I’ve used this in our morning oatmeal, in raw cookies and even on my body. It works for everything.
