Homemade Sidewalk Paint

By Fredrica Syren

In an effort to entertain my two oldest kids, I made sidewalk paint for them with just three ingredients. It’s so easy — and it’s completely natural, toxic-free and eco-friendly. The best part is that it involves very little cleaning up afterward, so they can be little artisans pretty much whenever they want to be and paint their little hearts out. I found the recipe for the paint onhttp://www.busybeekidscrafts.com/Homemade-Sidewalk-Paint.html

 ¼ cup corn starchhomemade side walk paint

 ¼ cup water
 8 drops of food coloring in different colors
 Small containers (one for each color)
 Paint brushes

Mix the cornstarch and water until completely combined. Add food coloring. Repeat to make as many colors as you can. It might seem very watery but it will dry up nicely on the sidewalk.
