Chocolate cake with noisette frosting

We so have been enjoying a long weekend of family time. But everything nice has to come to an end so we went out with a bang and had a wonderful rich dinner last night ending it on the sweet side with a chocolate cake and noisette frosting. Noisette is hazelnuts and chocolate which in my opinion, is a marriage made in heaven. It was so good that it even called my name this morning, making me eat a small piece. Iiiieeekkk!!!
Chocolate cake
2 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 tbs baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup  vegetable cream
75g vegetable margarine, melted
1 cup vegetable milk
Preheat oven for 350F
Mix all dry ingredients and mix all wet once together. Blend them slowly together while stirring or even better use a electrical whipper or kitchen aid. Blend really well and pour into a well oiled cake pan with removable sides. Bake middle of oven for 40-45 minutes. When a tooth pick inserted into the cake come out clean an
d dry the cake is done.
Noisette frosting
1/2 cup roasted hazelnuts (I roasted my own in the oven for 350F for about 10 minutes, rub between hands to remove skins)
2 tbs earth balance butter, room temperature
2 tbs cocoa powder
1/4 cup vanilla flavored vegetable milk
2 cup confection sugar (maybe more)
Almond flakes
Place nuts in food processor and grind them to a fine powder. Blend butter and nut powder well. Add cocoa powder and blend well again. Add milk a
nd blend until there are no lumps left. Shift sugar into mix and blend well. If it seems lose add more sugar. Set aside to let it thicken for 10 minutes. Spread the frosting all over the cake and sprinkle almond flakes in a nice thin layer all over the cake.

Det har verkligen hjalp mig eftersom som min doctor sa att han man denna sjukdommen kan man inte smalta djurfetter lika bra.Jag var vegetarian fore det till och fran i ar. Jag alskar din blogg och kollar pa den varje dag. Du har verkligen goda saker dar. Lycka till till med hypotyreo. Om du tanker ga vegan och har fragor sa finns jag har.   3. Hej!Jag har också hypo, och undrar hur dusom vegan gör för att få i dig fullvärdigt protein ovh kalcium utan sojan? Vad använder du för "mjölk" t.ex? Rismjölk funkar tyvärr inte för mig..:/

  4. Jag ater boner och linser varje dag och ser till att jag ater dem med pasta, potatis, fulkornbrod eller ris. Jag dricker mandel och havre mjolk och tycker det smakar gott, jag tycker inte om rismjolk. mandelmjolk finns att kopa i halsokosten. Jag tar en vegansk multivitamin, omega och B12 varje dag.
